Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an
Overall Systems Engineering & Integration for SA Developments (f/m)
to join our Overall System Architect & Integration team based in Toulouse, France.
You will join a dynamic team whose mission is to drive and engage the extended Systems Community to achieve a global optimum in the design, development and integration of the aircraft systems, defining and implementing new standards that leverage new technologies and methodologies. You will collaborate with a lot of stakeholders such as systems architects, system designers, lab and flight test teams and program chief engineering teams.
You will focus on activities related to current SA developments (Steps, New Avionics, nFMS integration).

Your challenges
Performing analysis of new designs and working collaboratively with system architects, system designer teams and test teams to define the scope and strategy of verification and validation activities and build overall integration plans.
Ensuring alignment of systems developments and V&V plans, models developments and test means readiness, for lab and flight tests integration and ensuring the on-time execution of the integration plan.
Supporting functions and systems with their own V&V and integration.
Supporting system engineering tools and methods transformation on a disruptive and ambitious approach to prepare next generation aircraft.
Driving method changes, deploy innovative ways of working within aircraft systems community.
As a Product Line Multi-System Architect, you will also
Be the Owner of the functional baseline of one of the major Airbus projects (New Avionics), ensuring alignment with all stakeholders on the Airbus functions to develop and deliver, in a multi-program context.
Be the Owner of the New Avionics Product Line Multi-System Component, translating New Avionics Top Project Requirements into requirements applicable to Multi-System Functions and Systems shared between several Programs; and defining the architecture of the Multi-System component including interactions between Multi-System Functions.
Lead the operation of the newly defined Multi-Program and Product Line Requirement and V&V Management Plan on New Avionics, supporting all the operators (Programs, Product Lines) and reporting to the Project team.
Your boarding pass
A good experience in systems development and/or integration.
A good knowledge of systems engineering principles and avionics systems development processes.
Ability to connect and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, in a multicultural environment.
Good leadership & communication skills.
Curiosity and innovative mindset, organized.
Advanced level in English and French.
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
