We are a well‑funded deep‑tech start‑up headquartered in Paris, serving the fast‑growing global cold storage market. Participate in onboarding and offboarding (hardware setup, account creation, SI overview). Manage software licenses and hardware inventory. Promote best practices and enhance information security culture. Collaborate with Sarah, Office Manager, on technical vendor relationships (cloud and infrastructure providers). R&D and Operations This position is primarily focused on managing infrastructure and servers (≈90%); the engineer will also contribute around 10% of their time to R&D efforts. Short‑summary: a full‑time infrastructure engineer structuring and maintaining the system, deeply aligned with R&D. About You At least 3+ years of professional experience in system administration, infrastructure, or DevOps. Linux (multi‑distribution, strong experience with Debian and Ubuntu). Bash scripting, system automation, and administration. Networking: ARP, IP, TCP, SSH, Wi‑Fi. Virtualization: Proxmox or equivalent. Boot/BIOS/EFI, Dell rack servers (iDRAC). Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Familiarity with Google Workspace administration. Flexible, empathetic, patient, and service‑oriented (user support mindset). Clear communicator, organized, and solution‑driven. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment. The position is onsite, based at our office located at 5 Impasse Reille in Paris (14th arrondissement). The workspace combines modern classic offices with advanced laboratory rooms, fostering collaboration between computer scientists and biologists. In 2026, our offices will relocate to a new headquarters in central Paris near Notre‑Dame Cathedral. Biomemory provides benefits beyond French regulations to support the well‑being of its employees.
