Job Description – Functional Consultant SAP S/4HANA – EPPM (Greenfield Project)

We are seeking a Functional Consultant (EPPM) to join our SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation program. The consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing best‑practice solutions in the Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management domain, supporting the organization in optimizing project and portfolio governance, resource, budgeting, and execution. This role will actively contribute to Business Process Reengineering (BPR) while ensuring alignment with SAP S/4HANA standard capabilities.

Responsibilities

Serve as the functional expert for the SAP S/4HANA EPPM module (Project Portfolio Management, Project System, Resource Management).

Conduct business process analysis and lead BPR workshops to re‑design project & portfolio management processes.

Define functional specifications and configure SAP S/4HANA EPPM according to business requirements.

Integrate project planning with related domains such as Finance (PS/CO), Procurement (MM), and Asset Management.

Support Project Management Processes Including:

Project initiation, portfolio management, and governance

Budgeting, cost planning, and controlling

Resource capacity planning and staffing

Scheduling and milestone management

Project execution and reporting

Develop and execute test plans (unit, integration, UAT) and support cutover activities.

Ensure knowledge transfer to business users and provide training/documentation.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solution alignment with business strategy.

Contribute to project methodology deliverables (blueprints, functional specs, test scripts, training materials).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field.

5+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant in EPPM, PPM, or Project System (PS).

Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA EPPM functionalities (project structures, portfolio management, resource management, cost planning).

Hands‑on experience in at least one full SAP implementation cycle, preferably Greenfield.

Familiarity with end‑to‑end project management processes and integration with Finance, Procurement.

Experience in Business Process Reengineering (BPR) initiatives.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in French & English (additional languages a plus).

French citizenship.

Familiarity with Agile project methodologies and SAP Activate.
