Job Description
Based in Paris, the financial controller will help develop and structure procedures and data monitoring/reporting tools for the Management Company and its subsidiaries. She/he will assist the team in structuring and overseeing financial vehicles (Funds and SPVs) alongside the CFO and external partners (accountants, auditors, custodian, compliance).
Responsibilities include:
Management Company
Oversee financial and administrative activities (cashflows, inter-company transactions, financial statements, monitoring tools)
Manage quarterly closes and coordinate annual financial closes with external parties
Deploy IT tools & systems (CRM, HR, etc.)
Implement and oversee internal control procedures
Optimize and automate internal processes for scaling
Fund Activity Oversight
Monitor cash flows, capital calls, and distributions; prepare cash projections
Coordinate with banks, custodian, auditors
Assist in structuring funds and financial vehicles
Work on financial, tax, and legal procedures with advisors
Ensure compliance with legal and tax ratios, French regulations (FATCA/CRS, AMF filings)
Portfolio Activity
Assess investment and exit strategies in collaboration with the investment team
Gather KPIs for portfolio monitoring and reporting
Prepare for Valuation and Risk Committees
Assist portfolio companies with financial matters
Investor Relations
Participate in fundraising activities
Contribute to quarterly and annual investor reports
Support other investor requests
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in the financial sector
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Knowledge of PE/VC environment is a plus
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Strong analytical skills and commitment to quality
Team player, proactive, innovative
Willing to work in a fast-paced, ambitious environment
