Terminal Digital Twin Project Senior Supervisor

THE ROLE
CMA CGM in its ambition to accelerate AI and digital initiatives, has embarked on the journey of terminal digitalization through a Digital Twin product for the terminals of the group. The goal is to deploy the terminal data platform to capture the existing sources of data that will feed the Digital Twin application.
Reporting to the Research & Innovation Terminal Digitalization Manager and in cooperation with the terminals and third parties involved, your mission will be to manage the scale‑up & adoption of the Digital Twin for terminals.
You will have to manage, monitor and report your work with the internal client (terminals) and the R&D partners according to the specific framework in place.
The deployment pattern objective will be 4 terminals per year.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
You will work integrated in the Research & Innovation Digitalization team working for the terminals and part of your tasks will include:
Project management
Assess the terminal to map the data maturity level – Verify that the minimum data to enable the digital twin are available,
Report progress,
Challenge the parties,
Monitor the expenses associated with every deployment and drive the budget,
Propose alternatives when required,
Drive the adoption of the tool with the support of your manager and the transformation department,
Prepare presentations for internal or external stakeholders, management.
Data validation
Review & validate the data received (format, type, frequency, behavior, etc.),
Follow the data validation process,
Track and record the issues,
Ensure the digital twin is reliable and accurate in the visualization, the alerting and the analytics,
Build the baseline and measure the margin of improvement the terminal can have with the terminal and CMATH,
Participate and follow up the elaboration of the continuous improvement roadmap for the terminal,
Monitor the training session of the terminal staff,
Transform the root causes identified into operational action to improve.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Container Terminal industry,
Expertise in terminal operations and processes,
Expertise in MS Office is considered a must,
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Good to have:
Familiarity with statistical methodologies/techniques,
Experience in how a terminal interacts with the maritime industry is an advantage,
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information to non‑technical teams,
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously,
Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines?
