We validated our model in France, launched Spain in 2025, and are now accelerating our European expansion.
The Netherlands are next.
We’re looking for a General Manager Netherlands to build and scale the Dutch market from day one. This is a true builder role: in the first phase, you’ll own customer acquisition and hands‑on go‑to‑market execution, laying the foundations of our success locally.
From defining the entry strategy to closing the first key deals, then hiring and structuring the team, you’ll shape and scale the Dutch operation end‑to‑end, with direct exposure to the CEO and executive team.
You won’t just manage a market. You’ll build it.
Your Mission
Market strategy & launch
Define and execute Orus’ market entry and growth strategy in the Netherlands, with a strong hands‑on focus on revenue generation in the early phase.
Report directly to the CEO and regularly present market performance and strategic recommendations to the executive team.
Adapt Orus’ value proposition to local customer needs, regulation, and competition.
Go‑to‑market, sales & growth
Design and lead the go‑to‑market strategy (digital acquisition, partnerships, outbound/inbound sales).
Act as the first Sales Manager for the Netherlands, directly owning sales execution at launch (closing first customers, structuring the sales motion, scripts, and tooling).
Build and scale strategic partnerships (platforms, B2B partners, distributors).
Own core performance metrics: CAC, conversion, retention, product profitability.
Test, iterate, and scale what works, fast.
Local operations & execution
Oversee the operational launch: customer journeys, sales processes, support setup.
Ensure seamless execution in coordination with central teams.
Be accountable for customer experience, compliance, and operational quality.
Leadership & team building
Transition from hands‑on sales leader to team builder: hire, lead, and scale the local Dutch team.
Build a strong local culture aligned with Orus’ values.
Act as Orus’ public and institutional representative in the Netherlands, with partners, regulators, insurers, and key ecosystem players.
Ideal Profile
8–10 years of experience in high‑responsibility roles with a proven record of scaling a business, BU, or market over at least 2–3 years.
Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
Able to combine strategic vision with hands‑on execution.
Strong leadership, ownership mindset, and autonomy.
Native Dutch speaker and fluent in English.
Available to come to France in the coming months for the onboarding process.
Based in (or willing to relocate to) Amsterdam.
