Contract Engineer

Job Title: Contracts Engineer Location: Paris, France

Assignment Type: Residential

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Annually Renewable Contract

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and administer all contracts throughout the project phases, including Pre-project and FEED. May also support preparation and administration of EPC contracts at later stages.

Manage the FEED contract and execution contracts.

Assist the project manager with technical and commercial clarifications during FEED.

Support the engineering manager during execution of the FEED phase.

Ensure all tenders and contract activities comply with regulations and internal rules and procedures.

Prepare procedures related to contracts.

Organize clarification meetings.

Negotiate contracts and prepare data for review.

Support the project control manager with smaller contract placements and related activities.

Prepare and maintain variation registers, assisting project control on claims, disputes, and negotiations.

Advise project control manager and project manager on all contract administration matters.

Project Context

Large-scale energy initiative based in Nebraska, jointly developed by multiple international partners.

The project team will be based in Paris during FEED, with possible relocation to contractor offices during later project stages.

Technical Requirements

Degree in Engineering, Business, or Law

Proficiency in English

15+ years of professional experience

10+ years of experience in project CFT and contract administration within the energy industry
