Key Responsibilities
Responsible for managing Information Technology for Company's Paris location.
Partner in a consultative fashion with SVP, IT and Department heads to align strategic technology objectives/programs to business objectives.
Foster innovation, recommend solutions and strategies, and prioritize IT initiatives.
Coordinate the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems.
Enhance the companyโs competitive position by leveraging knowledge and vision of technology.
Develop, maintain, and ensure performance of the annual operating budget.
Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company budgets.
Develop and document appropriate IT goals, objectives, procedures, and performance measures.
Establish standard operating procedures and policies for technical services, network systems, information security, business application development, systems and infrastructure management, telecommunications, audiovisual, compliance, and corporate-wide IT procurement.
Manage the company's compliance process with internal and external auditors.
Manage contractual negotiations and budget management with external vendors and teams.
Conduct research with teams on new technologies and make determinations on the implementation of the same to keep the company innovative and ahead of the market.
Manage IT budget to support both CapEx and OpEx expenses.
Partner with IT leads on management and oversight of individual areas for datacenter, hardware, software, application layer, network systems, devices (desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile devices), governance, compliance, information and cybersecurity, and extend customer support to all company employees.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the IT staff, infrastructure, and resources.
Ensure effective, efficient, and secure operations of all technology.
Orchestrate annual disaster recovery exercises.
Establish and maintain a high-performance team of professionally trained and motivated staff.
Complete effective performance management and career-development activities.
Represent the company in external technology forums and conferences as applicable.
Requirements
Bachelorโs degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration or related field; Masterโs degree preferred.
Overall 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years of IT management experience within complex, technologically-driven organizations.
Strong service orientation within and outside the Department.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple moving targets.
Must be fluent in English and French.
In-depth experience in technology strategy, analysis and planning, knowledge of applicable compliance regulations, technology frameworks, and Scrum/Agile methodology.
Demonstrated ability to apply business, technology, and financial acumen to IT strategy.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose, analyze, design, implement and evaluate large-scale technological solutions with measurable results in a multi-site environment.
Solid understanding of how technology can impact business models and drivers.
