You will drive business development initiatives, identify new market opportunities, and help translate customer needs into winning product and solution offerings. Partnering closely with sales, marketing, and product management, you will contribute to strategy, execute go‑to‑market plans, and support profitable, sustainable growth. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new business opportunities for Emerson’s Level products and solutions in France.

Develop and execute business development plans, including account strategies, growth roadmaps, and go‑to‑market initiatives in collaboration with sales and product teams.

Build a deep understanding of customer needs, industry trends, competitors, and regulatory environments, transforming insights into clear value propositions and commercial strategies.

Initiate active prospecting and partner closely with sales teams to accelerate market growth for the product line while shaping future market opportunities. Regular weekly travel is required.

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and business cases to internal and external stakeholders.

Monitor performance of key initiatives and portfolios, using data and metrics to track progress, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.

Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives with marketing, operations, finance, and other teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of growth plans.

Collaborate with product management to influence roadmap decisions, ensuring customer feedback, market requirements, and local needs are reflected in product offerings.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Experience in product business development, product management, key account management, or a similar commercial role in an industrial, automation, or technology environment.

Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities, with a track record of contributing to revenue or margin growth.

Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt messages for technical, commercial, and executive audiences and rally them around a shared objective.

Strong customer‑facing skills, including the ability to listen actively, ask insightful questions, and translate needs into clear value propositions.

Solid analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data, financial information, and performance metrics to support decision‑making.

Ability to collaborate effectively across functions (such as sales, marketing, product management and operations) and across cultures in a global organization.

Comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and taking ownership of initiatives from concept through execution.

Professional proficiency in French and English to operate effectively with local and international stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Minimum 5 Years Experience in the automation, process industries, electricity or related sectors relevant to Emerson’s Level portfolio.

Experience working in a matrixed, multinational environment with cross‑cultural teams.

Background in managing or supporting product launches, go‑to‑market strategies, or commercialization projects at regional scale.

Experience with value‑based selling, consultative selling approaches, or solution selling frameworks.

Experience using CRM and analytics tools to manage pipelines, segment customers, and track business performance.
