What We're Looking For

We are seeking a Full Stack Web Developer Apprentice to join our dynamic, fast-growing team at Vekta. If you’re passionate about endurance sports and excited by the potential of AI to transform athletic performance, we’d love to hear from you! You’ll grow your full stack skills while contributing to real product development across our web and mobile apps. In this role, you'll be contributing to our mission of transforming data into actionable insights for athletes and coaches across the world. Role & Responsibilities

As an apprentice full stack web developer, your main mission will be to learn and grow your skills within our modern stack. You’ll progressively become more autonomous and take on a wide range of full-stack development tasks, including: Bug fixing Page integration and UI redesign Designing and implementing new features Refactoring existing code Writing integration tests While your focus will be on web development , you may also have the opportunity to contribute to our mobile app . This section isn’t a checklist of required skills, although prior experience with these technologies is certainly a plus. Instead, it’s meant to give you a glimpse of the exciting ecosystem you’ll get to work in and learn from. Python (a small part of our backend tooling) tRPC for type-safe APIs within our Next.js server Hosted on AWS , deployed via SST , a modern infrastructure-as-code (IaC) framework A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. Experience: Previous experience through personal, academic projects or internships is mandatory. Experience in the sports or tech industry is a plus. Profile : Proactive and collaborative mindset that thrives in a dynamic startup environment. Strong communication skills in both English and French . Excellent interpersonal skills. Passionate about endurance sports and eager to make an impact in the industry. Comfortable working in remote or hybrid environments. Competitive salary based on experience.
