A global manufacturer company is currently seeking a DAF to work in Seclin, France.

In this role, you will be responsible for generating and maintaining the confidence of all stakeholders in the fairness of the economic and financial information of the two French and Belgian entities, overseeing financial management procedures, team management, and ensuring accurate reporting.

TYPE:

Permanent, full-time

WORKING HOURS : 8:30 to 17:00 from Monday to Friday

SALARY:

€72-78k, depending on experience

Seclin, France (office based)

Accounting Manager Main Responsibilities

Business Management:

Define financial/administrative procedures, KPIs, and reporting tools

Monitor financial results, cash flow, financing plans, and risk exposure

Prepare, manage, and adjust operating and investment budgets

Advise management on resource allocation and strategic financial decisions

Manage relations with suppliers, financial institutions, tax authorities, and external partners

Group Management:

Consolidate, analyse, and transmit financial and operational reporting to the Group

Ensure alignment with Group financial procedures and systems

Adjust forecasts and budgets in line with Group requirements

Co‑sign quarterly representation letters ensuring accuracy and reliability of accounts

Accounting Control & Compliance:

Supervise and validate accounting operations, financial statements, and tax filings

Coordinate audits and justify account closures with statutory auditors

Develop and monitor production budgets and analyse performance variances

Implement and track industrial KPIs (costs, yields, scrap rates, inventory valuation)

Propose corrective actions to optimise costs and improve profitability

Team Management:

Lead, recruit, train, and evaluate team members, including performance and compensation decisions

Accounting Manager Ideal Candidate

At least 5 years of accounting experience

Business level fluency in English (B2)

Strong financial expertise: general accounting, cost accounting, taxation, and financial analysis

Solid knowledge of banking regulations and management techniques

Proven ability to oversee financial and administrative management procedures

Budget development, presentation, monitoring, and performance analysis

Cash management control and financial risk monitoring

Experience supervising audits, management control, and legal advisors

Advanced proficiency in office automation tools

Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem‑solving skills

Results‑oriented professional with rigor, discretion, diplomacy, and strong interpersonal skills
