Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Duty Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sepang, Malaysia. As a Duty Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility's critical systems and infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization's success while leveraging your technical expertise and problem‑solving skills.

Monitor and maintain facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance

Respond promptly to emergency situations and implement effective solutions

Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend equipment life

Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues across various engineering disciplines

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and logs

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve operational efficiency and safety

Ensure compliance with local engineering standards and regulations in Iraq

Provide technical guidance and support to other team members

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and stay updated on industry best practices

Implement energy management and sustainability practices to optimize resource utilization

Conduct regular inspections and safety audits to maintain a secure work environment

Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted maintenance services

Qualifications

Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in a similar engineering role

Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices, particularly in facility management

Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in handling emergency situations and critical systems

Thorough understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems

Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures

Knowledge of local engineering standards and regulations in Iraq

Experience with preventive maintenance planning and execution

Familiarity with energy management and sustainability practices

Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

Relevant engineering certifications (e.g., Professional Engineer certification) preferred

Flexibility to work on‑call or extended hours when required
