Customer Support Specialist - French speaker - CDD (until July)
Join Shine as a Customer Support Specialist. Shine is a fintech company helping freelancers and small business owners with banking, invoicing, accounting and admin needs.
Your Role
As a Customer Support Specialist you will assist entrepreneurs and small businesses in managing their professional accounts (bank cards, transfers, direct debits) and simplifying their administrative tasks so they can focus on their core business. Your contract is fixed‑term for 7 months, until July.
Responsibilities
Providing comprehensive and high‑quality responses to entrepreneurs and small businesses contacting Shine via email, chat or phone.
Investigating complex cases related to bank accounts, administrative issues, or insurance.
Prioritising the requests in your portfolio, choosing the best channel (email, chat or phone) to understand and resolve your customers’ situations.
Developing a strong attention to detail that allows you to anticipate the “little extra” that reassures and retains our customers.
Proactively communicating with your team members and other departments at Shine (Sales, Product, Compliance, etc.) to handle specific situations.
About You
Prior experience in a customer support role, ideally in a SaaS company.
Excellent command of French, especially in writing, with clear expression.
Empathetic and customer‑centred; customer satisfaction is a top priority for you.
Thrives in teamwork: you’re not afraid to ask for help or offer support when needed, and you’re open to feedback and self‑improvement.
Proficient with collaborative tools like Slack, Notion, Intercom, or similar.
Comfortable picking up the phone to call a customer when it’s the most appropriate option.
Knowledge of the banking sector or the administrative challenges of self‑employed professionals is a plus.
French is your native language or you speak and write it fluently; a professional level of English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
Can be on‑site in our Paris office at least 3 days per week (2 remote working days allowed).
Recruitment Process
An initial interview (45 min) with Anne‑Lucie (Talent Acquisition Specialist).
A video interview (45 min) with Marion (CS Team Lead).
A case study with a presentation.
A final interview focusing on your soft skills; you will meet your potential future colleagues.

Salary range between €32 k and €36 k per year.
