Embark on a transformative journey as a Change Delivery Manager. At Barclays, our vision is clear – To be Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of change in Barclays Markets, with a focus on regulatory-, risk-, and strategic-driven changes. The AVP ensures that change projects are delivered safely, in compliance with regulations and internal policies, and on time, while meeting Markets businesses objectives and regulatory commitments. This role works collaboratively front-to-back across Trading (Front Office), Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal and other control functions to design, execute, and fully embed changes in the organization.

To be successful as a Change Delivery Manager, you should have experience with:

Change delivery experience:Experience leading and delivering majorchange projects in a large International Bank or Investment Banking or Markets environment, demonstrating end-to-end project management of large-scale (including regulatory and strategic change programs).

Experience in change & project management:Deep knowledge ofchange delivery frameworks and project management best practices, including project planning, governance,risk and issue management, and control/compliance processes. Able to manage multiple priorities and project plans effectively. Adaptable, motivated, action‑driven self‑starter who can hit the ground running, and lean in, take ownership to drive delivery and outcomes whilst making a tangible impact in a fast‑paced change environment.

Stakeholder management & communication skills:Excellent ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders – including Front Office business heads, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and other control functions – with clear communication and good negotiation/influencing skills.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

Regulatory change exposure:Experience working on regulatory-driven change or familiarity with key financial markets regulations (e.g. MiFID II, EMIR, Basel rules) as they impact Markets businesses.

Front-to-back business knowledge:Understanding of the full trade lifecycle and Markets products, with exposure to front-to-back processes (trade execution, operations, technology systems, risk & finance controls) in a trading or markets environment.

Professional certifications or global experience:Possession of a relevantproject/change management certification(e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, Agile/Scrum certification) and/orexperience working in a global, matrixed organisationwith cross-border project teams (demonstrating cultural awareness and collaborative skills) is an advantage.

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

The location of your role is Paris.

Purpose of the role To manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

Management of change projects within the organisation, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.

Development and management of project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.

Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met.

Management of project teams, ensuring that they are properly resourced and that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives.

Management of project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed budget.

Creation of reports on project progress to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.

Management of project risks, ensuring that risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary.

Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.

Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.

Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.

Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.

Communicate complex information. 'Complex' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.

Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
