Chief Financial Officer

The Opportunity This is a rare opportunity for a commercially minded CFO to build the financial infrastructure of a rapidly evolving research and technology enterprise.

We are looking for an operational architect. You will partner with the CEO to drive strategy, manage complex IP-based assets, and lead the business through its next phase of capital raising and international growth.

The Mandate You will operate at the intersection of Finance, R&D, and Strategy. This is not a "maintenance" role; it is a build.

Strategic Leadership:

Model the future. You will build the financial models for scenario planning, IP valuation, and long-term capital allocation.

Fundraising:

Lead the charge on capital raising (VC/PE/Public Funding). You will manage relationships with investors and secure non-dilutive funding (BPI France, EU grants).

Cross-Border Complexity:

You must have the technical ability to navigate both

French and Swiss

accounting systems and regulations.

IP & Governance:

Work alongside Legal and IT to assess risks associated with R&D, cybersecurity, and data protection.

The Toolkit (Requirements)

Bilingual:

Fluent in English and French (Written/Spoken).

Sector Experience:

Proven track record in Deep Tech, Biotech, or a Research-intensive startup. You understand R&D financing (CIR, etc.).

Technical Authority:

Master’s/MBA/CPA with deep knowledge of IFRS and French/International regulations.

Knowledge of Swiss accounting is essential.

You are entrepreneurial and rigorous. You can move from high-level strategy with the Board to granular cash-flow management without missing a beat.

Salary:

120k-150k EUR
