Technical Lead Applications: Experience and Skills Who we are looking for? As a Technical Lead Applications at Stormshield, you will be the

key reference for structuring and managing the operations

(Run/MCO) of a hybrid application portfolio (SaaS + on‑premise) and contributing to technical projects that evolve our tools.

Your main challenge is to

bring structure and governance

(inventory, ownership, MCO standards, runbooks, KPIs, MCO backlog) to make operations more controlled, predictable, and robust, in close collaboration with infrastructure teams (core systems, monitoring, backups) and other stakeholders.

This is a non‑development role: you will not be coding features.

Backups and infrastructure foundations are handled by the infrastructure team.

What is the job description for the Technical Lead Applications? You will work closely with Digital, Support, Dev, Infra teams, and with vendors/service providers. Your missions will include:

Structuring Application Run/MCO

Build and maintain an application inventory: applications, environments, criticality, ownership, dependencies, integrations, contacts

Define and deploy an MCO framework: operational standards (versions, application upgrades/patches, access, logs), minimal documentation, and best practices

Produce and maintain runbooks (operations + recurring incidents) and an MCO backlog (obsolescence, application vulnerabilities, preventive actions)

Define application‑side monitoring/alerting requirements and coordinate implementation with infrastructure teams

Leading Technical Application Projects

Perform diagnostics and define evolution roadmaps (impacts, risks, options, costing, deployment plans)

Lead structuring technical projects (tooling, platforms, standardization, major upgrades, bringing systems under control)

Standard DB Ops & Operations Coordination

Ensure a standard level of DB operations (MSSQL/PostgreSQL): rights management, standard maintenance, procedures, basic diagnostics, coordination

Hold application ownership for certain on‑premise environments: operability requirements, maintenance windows, production release conditions (without managing the infrastructure core)

ITIL / ITSM Contribution

Contribute to a pragmatic ITIL/ITSM governance model (incidents/problems/changes handled by another role), by providing standards, impact analysis, and change conditions

You will join a Digital / Business Applications team, working daily with project managers, support, development teams, infrastructure, and partners (software vendors, service providers). The role is designed to be structuring, giving visibility over operations and technical priorities.

An initial exchange with Alaix, our recruitment manager, to discuss your current work and how we can collaborate.

A phone interview with Augustin, accompanied by the Aurelin (Lead Project Manager), to give you a more detailed explanation of the team's workflow and the vision for the role.
