Job Summary
As an Analyst or Associate in Fixed Income Macro Financing Sales within the EMEA team, you will work closely with clients to support their trading and financing needs across Developed Market Rates Assets and Global Emerging Market Fixed Income assets. You will partner with internal stakeholders, provide market commentary and analysis, and manage day-to-day flow activity with our Continental Europe-based franchise. You will have the chance to build and expand client relationships, supporting their trading and financing strategies while developing your own expertise in a collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with clients to meet their daily trading and financing needs
Enhance existing client relationships and build new ones to expand the breadth of financing in Continental Europe
Manage the firm’s financial resources efficiently, including balance sheet, capital, and liquidity
Produce intra‑day market analysis by investigating flow trends, macro news, and internal research
Manage risks in the business and ensure adherence to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain a strong internal network across Fixed Income Macro Sales and Trading
Prioritise and multitask effectively between multiple client requests from both internal and external stakeholders
Utilise technology to streamline and automate desk processes where appropriate
Support the post‑trade process by ensuring accuracy of entries and adherence to internal controls
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Market knowledge of global financing markets and the wider market spectrum, with proven experience in Fixed Income Financing markets
Experience building and expanding client relationships in Continental Europe
Familiarity with EMEA Developed Market Rates Assets and Global Emerging Market Fixed Income assets
Execution skills and knowledge of execution platforms, risk management protocols, and procedures
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high‑pressure environment, with strong teamwork skills
Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
German language skills highly preferred
