The Opportunity The Trade Engagement Executive will support the activation of indirect retail channels in Belgium to deliver best‑in‑class commercial performance, retailer satisfaction, and overall NPS. You will lead the development and deployment of multicategory Trade Marketing and Engagement programmes, while collaborating closely with Key Account, Field Sales, Marketing, Commercial Planning, and the wider Country Team.

This role also includes creating premium partner experiences, providing exclusive access to VIP events and strategic engagement moments that strengthen long‑term relationships.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy Trade Engagement plans across multicategory initiatives to inform, educate and motivate trade partners in line with commercial KPIs.

Create online and offline trade materials, including toolkits, educational content, digital assets, and retailer communication tools to elevate the in‑store talking points and visibility of our brands.

Develop tools and content to educate staff, ensuring they have strong product knowledge and can confidently influence sell‑in.

Design and manage incentive programmes that empower partners and staff to exceed commercial targets.

Write clear, professional communication (copywriting) in local languages for various trade communication channels, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Legal, EA, etc.).

Collaborate with third‑party suppliers for sourcing and producing activation materials, ensuring full end‑to‑end follow‑up from briefing to delivery.

Ensure consistent communication to Field Sales via Teams, News Update, Sales Letters, and other internal channels.

Enhance the retailer experience through upgraded touchpoints, premium engagement moments, and exclusive VIP access.

Continuously improve the retailer approach using insights, feedback, and data.

Key Requirements

Have 2–3 years of experience in developing consumer engagement activities.

Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Possess a strong understanding of the Belgian indirect retail environment, ideally gained through front‑office or commercial experience.

Bring experience in agency or third‑party management (considered a plus).

Demonstrate a strong consumer‑ and partner‑centric mindset, with the ability to tailor messages and tools based on retailer insights.

Show excellent collaboration, communication, and influencing skills.

Have experience creating online/offline marketing materials or trade assets.

Communicate fluently in English; Dutch or French is an advantage.
