About the role

As part of Carrier’s Digital transformation, the incumbent will serve as the Consultant, SAP S/4 HANA Manufacturing/PTD. The incumbent is responsible to support specific process domain expertise in CoE ERP. Moreover, the incumbent will support process work stream within project or support to deliver requested ERP functionality

The incumbent will report to the S4 HANA Functional Leader

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related business discipline(s)

5 – 8 years of experience within the information technology and/or increasing responsibilities within a related or relevant area of business.

Minimum of 3 years of proven, hands‑on experience in SAP ERP project delivery or support.

S4/HANA Produce to Deliver.

Customer facing skills, ideally gained in a consultancy role.

Demonstrated “agile‑development” mindset with strong customer‑focus & results‑orientation.

Spoken and written English is mandatory.

Willing to travel internationally.

Results oriented, always stretching to drive personal and team outcomes.

Strong desire to continue to grow skillset and work across the full technology stack.

Strong analytical and business problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

Implement/review/confirm ERP solutions that adhere to high level conceptual design and are traceable to functional as well as non‑functional requirements in projects/enhancements.

Perform scoping, fit‑to‑standard workshops for projects/enhancements, propose solutions for key gaps, provide effort estimates and align with business teams.

Define and prioritise SAP ERP product features in collaboration with business subject matter experts.

Demonstrate product expertise and provide demos to customers as needed.

Explore newly released ERP cloud features to increase customer satisfaction and delivery continuous productivity improvement – initiate, align within business and implement.

Lead SAP ERP process domain related practice, coach and mentor team members within the incumbent process domain responsibility.

Provide digital / technical advice and consultancy to clients in an effective manner.

Lead SAP ERP software deliveries with a heavy focus on reuse and standardisation.

Perform any other activities requested by your supervisor that are in line with the incumbent’s competencies and experience.
