IT Area Manager – Safran Electrical & Power – France / India Safran Electrical & Power is a global leader in aerospace electrical systems, with 14 000 employees across 13 countries. The Interconnection Systems EURASIA division seeks an IT Area Manager to drive technology strategy and service delivery for its France and India territories.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the IT organization for the France / India périmètre and participate in site leadership committees.

Own the operational budget for the division’s IT portfolio.

Provide inventory, obsolescence and cost information.

Collect all IT/IS needs in the périmètre and forward them to the IT organization.

Pilot the business request portfolio (requests

Communicate IT messages – security policy, obsolescence strategy, major projects – to the division.

Act as Service Delivery Manager: handle escalations, drive action plans, coordinate activities of different IT services, capture irritants, propose improvement areas, run action‑follow‑up meetings, present progress to senior management.

Handle escalations impacting the périmètre.

Pilot local IT projects (where applicable).

Support business on internal or external audits for Information System topics.

Possibly participate in the périmètre CSE.

Report to the CRM of the ISE division.

Qualifications

Bac+2 minimum with 10 years of experience, or Bac+5 with 3 years minimum in IT.

Holistic view of IT in an enterprise and ability to act as transversal interlocutor for small projects.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proactive, autonomous, rigorous.

Excellent organizational skills.
