Under general supervision and reporting to the Director of Quality Operations, the Quality Program Manager - Europe is responsible for supporting aerospace production and quality management activities for a major OEM supplier, in accordance with our client's procedures and specifications. Thanks to your strong background in Power Plant systems, Engine Nacelle components, or Core Engine structures, you monitor and resolve non-conformances related to engine nacelle gaps/steps and other power plant issues in a dynamic international environment with high technical standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Essential functions are the basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Lead and support 8D problem-solving activities with suppliers and internal teams
Monitor and resolve non-conformances related to engine nacelle gaps/steps and other power plant issues
Ensure compliance and quality documentation according to AS9145 (APQP), AS9102 (FAIR), and AS9100/AS13000 standards
Provide expertise during product development, industrialization, and series production
Interface with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and root cause analysis
Assist with APQP/PPAP process implementation and supplier readiness reviews
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge Of:
Quality Standard (AS9145 (APQP), AS9102 (FAIR), and AS9100/AS13000) and quality tools
Drawing systems, inspection plans, and inspection coordination
The principles, practices, methods, and tools used in the production line
Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills; able to foster productive working relationships
Must be able to simultaneously manage several objectives
Must be detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated
Strong verbal, written and communication skills
Fluent English โ speaking, reading and writing is required; French or German is a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelorโs degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry, ideally in power plant or nacelle systems
Proven experience in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering
Strong working knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS9145, AS9102, AS9100, AS13000)
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Authorized to work in Europe (France or Germany or UK)
Fluent English โ speaking, reading and writing is required
Pass pre-hire background
Reliable transportation - must have current/active drivers' license

: Typical hours worked are Monday โ Friday from 8:00 a.m. โ 5:00 p.m. Incumbents may be required to work occasional extended hours.
The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk (approximately 1-2 miles a day); sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee will occasionally drive long distances to and from various suppliers as needed.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
