Who will be your team? The

Shared Experience

team defines, curates, and evolves the common experience blocks and identity layers that ensure coherence, clarity, and recognizability across all Schneider Electric digital experiences (software, applications, and beyond).

What will be your role? As

Art Director , you are the guardian of identity coherence across digital experiences.

You define, elevate, and arbitrate the visual expression of Schneider Electric’s digital products, ensuring that brand, UI, and experience design speak one clear, recognizable language across platforms and touchpoints.

You operate at both conceptual and execution levels, shaping the long‑term visual direction while enabling teams to apply it consistently at scale.

You will be responsible for:

Visual Direction & Identity

Define and evolve the digital art direction across software, applications, and emerging experiences.

Translate brand principles into clear, actionable digital expression (UI, motion, imagery, layouts).

Ensure consistency and coherence across platforms while allowing contextual flexibility.

Governance & Alignment

Act as a key interface between Brand, Shared Experience, and Design System teams.

Validate strategic designs and critical initiatives for visual alignment and quality.

Provide clear guidance and arbitration when visual decisions impact identity consistency.

Creative Leadership

Lead the creation of high‑impact concepts, reference designs, and vision explorations.

Set the bar for craft, clarity, and storytelling in digital experiences.

Influence complex programs where brand, UI, and product strategy intersect.

Collaboration & Enablement

Work closely with the Design System team to ensure art direction is translated into scalable rules, tokens, and components.

Support product designers through reviews, workshops, and clear visual guidance.

Contribute to documentation, guidelines, and visual exemplars.

This job has been tailored for you if you have:

You have +5 years of experience in digital art direction, UI, and brand‑driven design.

You are comfortable navigating large organizations and influencing without direct authority.

You can balance vision and pragmatism, creativity and scalability.

You enjoy shaping a shared language rather than designing isolated products.

You have excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills.

You are fluent in English.

Experience working with

design systems

or

platform

teams.

Exposure to motion, generative design, or AI‑assisted creative workflows.

Strong storytelling and presentation skills.

Experience with sound design.

Past experience in managing design and creative teams.
