Pylon Stress Engineer (m/f)
Location:
Toulouse, France
Join the Airbus Aircraft stress department as a Pylon Stress Engineer. You will design and integrate the pylon, ensuring its structural performance between the engine and the aircraft, support pylon production, and contribute to fleet operation and continuous improvement.
Your challenges
Design and integrate the pylon, the main structural component linking engine and aircraft.
Ensure primary structural integrity and routing of vital functions such as bleed, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Support pylon production and fleet support operations.
Continuously improve product performance and drive decarbonisation efforts.
Work within a multidisciplinary, high‑stakes engineering environment.

Qualifications & experience
Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in static stress analysis (mandatory).
Experience in finite‑element modelling.
Knowledge of Nastran, HyperMesh, Abaqus or Catia is a plus.
Experience with composites is a plus.
Experience in fatigue and damage tolerance is a plus.
