This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a QA Test Engineer in France.
As a QA Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of advanced medical software solutions. You will design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans, combining both automated and manual testing approaches to identify and resolve software issues. Collaborating closely with development teams, you will validate that features meet business requirements and user needs while maintaining high standards of software quality. This role requires attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to testing in a fast‑paced, innovative environment. You will also contribute to the development of QA best practices, documentation, and process improvements, impacting product reliability and user satisfaction. Opportunities to work with modern testing frameworks, scripting languages, and cloud‑based systems will further enhance your technical expertise.
Accountabilities
Take ownership of all QA activities, including test planning, execution, and verification/validation reporting
Develop and maintain automated test suites and manual test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage
Analyze software requirements and business logic to validate functionality against specifications
Identify, report, and collaborate on the resolution of software defects and regressions
Maintain documentation on testing processes, results, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) plans
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing using appropriate methodologies
Write and maintain test scripts using languages such as Python, Typescript, or RUST, and manage test code in Git
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of QA experience, including at least one year in a senior role with ownership of QA activities
Proficiency with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Playwright, Nextest) and scripting languages (Python, Typescript, RUST)
Strong understanding of industry best practices in software validation and verification
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Familiarity with CET working hours and availability during these times
Optional but desirable: experience in security testing, cloud‑based applications, database testing, API testing (GraphQL/REST), and knowledge of ISO / IEC 13485, 62304, or 14791 regulations
