Field Application Engineer - Embedded Cybersecurity
Location: Paris (75017), France | Permanent contract (CDI) | Hybrid work
Scope: Europe + Global engagements in embedded security

ProvenVisor:
a lightweight hypervisor designed for embedded environments
ProvenBox:
our plug-and-play Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) for secure deployment of sensitive applications
As a Field Application Engineer (FAE), you will help us expand our presence in the embedded cybersecurity market.
The FAE position is a crucial member of the ProvenRun team, responsible for the technical interface with our clients. Your mission will be to promote ProvenRun product and service portfolio, particularly our highly secure operating system ProvenCore and our hypervisor ProvenVisor. You will work crossfunctionally with our product, sales, engineering, and support teams.
You will support deployment, integration, and technical promotion of our solutions and play a vital role in customer success.
Main responsibilities:
Identify current and future client needs to ensure the success of their projects and collaborate
with them to find appropriate solutions
Develop a network of contacts within the client’s organization to enhance cooperation and
become a trusted partner
Work with the sales engineers to identify opportunities and convert them into won contracts
to achieve sales objectives
Generate, prepare, and present proposals, specifically the technical aspect, of ProvenRun in
collaboration with the product and integration services teams
Take charge of product evaluations at client sites
Actively participate in support and project execution activities to ensure a high level of
customer satisfaction
Potentially handle training and consulting assignments
Prepare for and participate in public events such as trade shows, seminars, etc
We’re looking for a proactive, technically strong, and customer-focused engineer with a hands-on mindset and the ability to manage technical conversations at all levels.

Technical skills
5+ years in cybersecurity / embedded / cryptography fields and technical customer facing
position
Experience with at least one of the following OS/RTOS: Linux (Yocto or buildroot), VxWorks,
QNX, Integrity, FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or others
Processor architectures: ARM Cortex-A, Cortex-M, and RISC-V
Languages: C/C++, RUST, and Python would be advantageous
Development environment and debugger: GDB, Eclipse, or equivalent.
Communication stacks: TCP/IP, OpenSSL, IPSEC, IKE, Routing, Bridging, QoS, VLAN.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of German is a plus.
Good knowledge of embedded hypervisors
Knowledge in the following areas would be highly appreciated:
Security architectures
Applied cryptography
Certification for functional safety: DO-178, IEC-61508, etc.
Certification for cybersecurity: Common Criteria, SESIP, DO-356, IEC 62443, WP-29,
ISO/IEC 27000.
