electric heating and cooling solutions
for industry (agri-food, environment, aeronautics, power generation, automotive, energy maintenance...) belonging to the Spirax-Sarco Engineering Group, more precisely to the ETS (Electric Thermal Solutions) branch.
Missions
The Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager steers the site's quality strategy and ensures that products, services and processes comply with internal and regulatory standards. He/she plays a key role in the site's transformation by acting as OPEX referent and leading structuring projects for continuous improvement and operational performance.
Responsibilities
Quality & compliance
Develop, deploy and manage the Quality Management System (QMS)
Define and update processes, procedures and performance indicators
Ensure compliance with ISO standards: ISO 9001, ISO 19443 (nuclear), ISO 14001...
Manage internal and external audits and related certifications
Identify non-conformities, implement corrective and remedial action plans
Guarantee the rigor and control of the documentation system
Monitor customer complaints and contribute to their sustainable resolution
Monitor regulations, standards and sectors (including nuclear)
Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
Manage strategic continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)
Deploy the OPEX culture on site and act as OPEX Program Lead
Develop performance tools: VSM, 5S, DMAIC, SMED, KPIs...
Supporting operational teams in root cause analysis and process reliability
Implement Group reporting and standards for Operational Excellence
Promote a mindset focused on performance, safety and quality
Project management & coordination
Manage the site's major quality projects through to operational results
Ensure strong cross‑functional links with production, engineering, supply chain, maintenance, safety, etc.
Act as quality contact at site, customer and group level
Lead quality rituals (reviews, AIC, improvement plans, etc.)
Raising awareness, training and supporting employees in best practices
Profile required
Training
Technical skills
Quality systems and ISO standards
Knowledge of quality tools: FMEA, 8D, 5M, Ishikawa, Pareto, etc.
Audit and certification practice
Experience in a nuclear environment would be a real plus: SGAQ, ISO 19443, RCC-E...
Green Belt ideal - Black Belt appreciated
ATEX knowledge appreciated
Proficiency in office software and ERP
