Founded in 2004 and based across the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands and beyond, LCP Delta provide data-driven research, consultancy, technology products and training services to companies investing in and navigating the energy transition.
LCP Delta was formed through the merger of Delta-EE and LCP Energy to bring together deep generation and consumer-side expertise, to provide our clients with a single partner to help them on their journey and provide them with a 360° view across the energy spectrum.

LCP's Consulting Team
LCP Delta’s Consulting team provides services to a range of our existing research clients and new clients. We have delivered projects for over 100 organisations covering network companies, energy suppliers, policy makers (associations and Government departments), manufacturers, technology companies, and investors and new entrants. Our consultancy work covers the following main areas:
Market analysis and forecasts
Propositions and customer research
Strategy and Innovation
Energy demand forecasting and modelling
Supporting clients make effective strategic decisions and innovate for competitive advantage
Technology and Product analysis
This is a great opportunity to:
Develop strategic relationships with a wide range of organisations including utilities, networks, regulators, and industrial clients
Play a key role in shaping LCP Delta’s marketing, brand positioning and go to market activities in all areas of our business
Become a recognised authority in the French energy transition through participation in key industry discussions, tenders, forums etc and PR activity with mainstream/sector media
Who are we looking for and what will you be doing?
Identifying opportunities for LCP Delta, developing them and securing high-value consultancy projects in core LCP Delta areas focusing on power markets, networks, flexibility, energy storage and industrial decarbonisation
Agreeing and executing a BD plan which defines the opportunities and organisations we will focus on and where most of LCP Delta’s growth will originate
Managing the delivery of consulting projects (i.e. manage the LCP Delta project team based in Paris and other LCP Delta offices) as well as undertaking work delivery and be the lead for client engagement through the project
Supporting delivery of consulting projects originated in other markets (such as the UK or Germany) as required by wider business resourcing needs
Contributing to the development of thought leadership content that reflects both European-level expertise and the specific context of the French market, helping to support business development efforts and reinforce LCP Delta’s positioning as a strategic advisor in France
Positioning LCP Delta as a European energy transition expert while having deep expertise of the French market
Using your market and competitor intelligence to anticipate trends and opportunities for LCP Delta in France
Use market intelligence to inform our business development strategy in France, to guide LCP Delta’s research topics and to work with the UK/German teams to align service offerings across different markets
Contributing to defining LCP Delta’s long-term international growth strategy and role in the French energy transition sector
What skills and experience are we looking for?
Proven experience in business development within the French energy sector
Strong commercial mindset, with a history of securing and delivering high-value consulting projects
Established network of senior contacts in the power, networks and decarbonization space
Experience of working with a range of energy stakeholders (of particular interest are utilities, networks, regulators, industrial clients) as well as financial institutions (of particular interest are investment funds, infrastructure investors, venture capital)
Deep understanding of French regulatory frameworks (CEE, ESG compliance, flexibility markets)
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex issues to both sector experts as well as non-specialists
Fluency in both French and English (written and verbal), other languages would be advantageous
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
