The candidate shall have experience in a risk department, with deep knowledge in credit risk analysis and financial markets, especially in mutual funds and ETFs. Additional skills in liquidity risk and market risk will be very useful in daily activities.

Responsible for assessing, measuring, and monitoring the credit risk of potential and existing clients. The employee should be able to perform detailed financial analysis and prepare financial and credit risk assessments of domestic and foreign counterparties, ensuring they are in line with the approved risk appetite and risk limits. Our client portfolio include banks, insurance companies, broker-dealers, wealth managers, SPCs, asset managers, among other type of clients and all around the world. Responsible for analyzing countries from a macroenomic perspective. Responsible for reporting new clients to the Client Acceptance Committee. Defining procedures and methodologies to measure, control, and follow up financial risks. Monitoring liquidity and cash overdrafts on a daily basis. Monitoring settlement risk on a daily basis. This role is expected to work closely with different areas: Sales, Operations, AML, Internal Audit and Legal. The role also includes support for regulatory reporting, such as the Pillar III Disclosures Report or the ICLAAP (IACL), as well as monthly report to the Risk and Audit Committee. Monitoring of risk indicators.

About you

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team oriented environment. Ability to cope with time pressure and work to deadlines is essential. Strong computer skills (Power BI is required). Possess strong problem solving skills 7. Have a hands-on attitude and approach. Self-starter with experience writing management reports under tight deadlines. Effective organizer and ability to execute complex simultaneous tasks. Coach and advice other colleagues if required. Willing to work in a small team and to take ownership. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics; credit training preferred; or equivalent.
