SAP BW4HANA Consultant

Freelancer role Long term - 12 months plus extensions

We are seeking an experienced

SAP BW Consultant

to support the design, development, and optimization of data warehousing and reporting solutions within the SAP landscape. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions. The consultant will play a key role in

data modeling, ETL development, and reporting , ensuring high-quality data integration and performance within

SAP Business Warehouse (BW)

environments. Key Responsibilities Design and develop

data models in SAP BW , including InfoObjects, InfoProviders, ADSOs, and CompositeProviders. Build and maintain

ETL processes

using BW data flows, transformations, and DTPs. Work with business stakeholders to gather and translate

reporting and analytics requirements . Develop and optimize

queries using BEx Query Designer or SAP Analytics tools . Integrate data from

SAP and non-SAP systems

into the BW landscape. Perform

performance tuning and optimization

of BW queries and data models. Support

data extraction from SAP modules

such as FI, CO, SD, MM, and HR. Assist with

system upgrades, migrations, or transitions

(e.g., BW on HANA or BW/4HANA). Ensure

data quality, governance, and documentation

of BW objects. Provide

support and troubleshooting

for BW data loads and reporting issues. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience with

SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW) . Experience with

BW data modeling concepts

(InfoObjects, ADSO, DSO, InfoCubes, CompositeProviders). Knowledge of

ETL processes and data integration . Experience with

BEx Query Designer

or SAP reporting tools. Understanding of

SAP HANA

and BW on HANA environments. Experience extracting data from

SAP functional modules

(FI, CO, SD, MM, HR). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with

business stakeholders and technical teams .
