We are looking for an
Infrastructure DevOps Engineer
to join our team for a multinational leader in the banking sector, working in a
highly demanding environment .
This is an
infrastructure-focused role (IaaS / on-premise) , centered on
backup platforms, automation, monitoring and operations .

(hybrid infrastructure: on-prem + cloud) centered on
Python-based automation
and
backend monitoring , where you will work with servers, storage, virtualized environments, backup systems, and modern data platforms such as
Data Lakes and Elasticsearch .
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance
automation scripts and frameworks , primarily using
Python , to automate infrastructure operations and repetitive tasks.
Implement, configure, and integrate
monitoring and observability tools
from the backend, including
Grafana, Icinga, Elasticsearch / ELK stack , and
backend databases .
Build and maintain dashboards from backend data sources, not only consuming visualizations.
Extract, transform, and process data from systems (including backup systems) and deliver it to
Data Lakes
and monitoring platforms.
Automate operational tasks such as client installations, software updates, patches, and recurring maintenance tasks.
Ensure high
availability, performance, and reliability
of critical infrastructure services.
Collaborate with global teams to maintain and evolve
existing automation solutions
and monitoring setups.
Participate in day-to-day operations (MCO) and evolution projects, following
ITIL methodology , incident remediation, and action plans.
Contribute to infrastructure evolution initiatives, proposing and implementing improvements in automation and monitoring practices.
Skills:
Essential:
Python
– development, scripting, automation, integration with APIs, data processing.
Infrastructure automation
using
Ansible
or equivalent tools; experience automating server, storage, and system configurations.
Monitoring and observability tools
– implementation, integration, and configuration of
Grafana, Icinga, Elasticsearch / ELK , including connecting to data sources and databases.
Data handling skills
– log analysis, metrics collection, ETL processes, working with structured and unstructured data.
Infrastructure knowledge
– servers, storage (NAS, SAN), virtualized environments (VMware), production systems.
Strong experience implementing
backend monitoring setups , integrating multiple systems, and maintaining dashboards programmatically.
High English level (B2/C – mandatory).
Desirable:
Experience automating
storage or VMware environments .
Familiarity with
backup systems
(NetBackup, Commvault, tape libraries, Data Domains) is a plus but not mandatory.
ITIL Foundation certification.
