We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Senior Catastrophe Risk Modeler to join our team. As part of our team, you'll contribute to diverse projects, from crafting innovative solutions to resolving client queries. This will be a remote position.

Collect, analyze, and process large data sets from clients as well as national and international sources. Design and implement data pipelines to process large geospatial and temporal datasets from multiple sources. Collaboratively write code to manipulate and analyze large and complex numeric and geospatial data sets. Rigorously evaluate the built models for their performance and validate them with respect to historical data. Present model results and data analysis findings to team members and clients with diverse scientific and statistical backgrounds. Utilize the KatRisk Software Suite and interpret results for clients and internal studies. Master’s with or Ph.Ability to work under minimal supervision. ~ Strong proficiency in R or Python, ~ Knowledge of LINUX user environment and command-line operation ~ Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), e.g., Ability to programmatically manipulate geospatial data is highly desirable. ~ Experience in collecting, manipulating, and processing large data sets. ~ Excellent collaboration skills in a remote work environment.
