Project Health Safety and Environment Manager

Energy company based in Madrid is seeking talented professionals to join our dynamic team and fill the following position, contributing to innovative projects across Spain and North Africa. HSE Manager / Madrid --------------

Lead the

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) strategy

for the organization’s operations in

Spain and North Africa (Algeria, ...) , ensuring compliance with

local and international regulations

, risk mitigation, and a culture of safety and sustainability. Oversee all HSE functions, including

operational safety, environmental compliance, health and wellbeing, and emergency response

, with a focus on

Spanish HSE laws (e.g., com] with the subject: “HSE Manager – Madrid” . Develop and implement the

HSE strategy

for

Spain and North Africa

, aligning with business objectives and

local/regional regulations

. Drive a

culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and employee wellbeing

across all operations (e.g., energy, industrial, or corporate facilities). Spanish HSE laws

safety culture

Bachelor’s degree in

HSE, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field

. Master’s degree or certifications (e.g.,

NEBOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, OSHA 30, Spanish

, or North African equivalents ) preferred. 15+ years in HSE

, with 8+ years in a senior leadership role

(e.g., HSE Director, VP HSE). ~ Proven track record in

HSE strategy, compliance, and cultural transformation

in

Spain/Southern Europe and North Africa

. ~ Experience with

Spanish HSE regulations, EU standards, and North African laws

(e.g., Strong

leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management

. Expertise in

HSE regulations (Spanish/EU and North African), risk management, and sustainability practices

. Knowledge of

local labor laws, environmental regulations, and operational requirements

in both regions. Fluent in Spanish and English

(mandatory). French and/or Arabic

(mandatory for North African operations).
