Mechanical Design Engineer – Airframe / UAV Structures

We are seeking an experienced

Mechanical Design Engineer

with a strong background in

airframe and UAV structural design

to join our engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting lightweight aerospace structures from concept through production, with a strong understanding of structural integrity, materials, and manufacturing methods.

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop airframe and UAV structural components and assemblies Produce detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings Perform structural analysis and support testing activities Work closely with manufacturing, systems, and flight teams Support prototype build, integration, and design iteration

Required Experience & Skills: Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience) Proven experience with

airframe and/or UAV structures Strong CAD skills (e.g. CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, or similar) Knowledge of aerospace materials (composites, aluminium, titanium, etc.) Understanding of structural analysis and design for manufacture

Desirable: Experience with composite structures UAV certification or flight-test support experience FEA experience
