Drive the end-to-end definition and execution of transformational Joint Venture (JV) and M&A opportunities for HBX, from a business standpoint. Lead strategic assessment, business plan creation, synergies identification and operating model design, ensuring maximum value creation by coordinating across all relevant internal and external stakeholders—from initial evaluation through to integration and results delivery. Critical role to ensure JVs deliver the financial, strategic, and operational targets defined in each JV/M&A business plan, and for ensuring sustainable value creation post-integration synergies identification & quantification, commercial agreement & TOM definition, day 1 integration preparation and coordination with M&A team · Advanced ability to build, challenge, and deliver business plans for JV/M&A, including synergy identification, value creation levers, and robust financial modeling. Demonstrated ability to coordinate and influence across Legal, Tax, Finance, M&A, and operational teams to deliver integrated solutions. Conceptual Problem Solving: Structuring and solving complex ambiguous challenges such as commercial, partnership & Target Operating Models Applying structured, data-driven approaches to break down complex business challenges, identify root causes, and quantify impact—supporting strategic decisions with robust financial, operational, and market analysis Skilled at building trust and alignment with senior leaders, JV partners, and external advisors in high-stakes environments. Track record of leading Day 1 readiness, post-deal integration, and change management for new ventures or acquisitions. Financial Acumen: Mastery of financial analysis, valuation techniques, and scenario modeling to support investment decisions and track performance Communication & Executive Presence: Ability to distill complex issues into clear, compelling presentations and recommendations for executive audiences and governance forums. Relentless focus on delivering measurable outcomes, capturing synergies, and driving continuous improvement. Negotiation & Conflict Resolution: Advanced negotiation skills to align diverse interests and resolve challenges in multi-party JV/M&A settings. Cultural Agility: Project Management: Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects in JV, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery within scope, time, and budget. Coaching and Leadership: Delegate, train, and motivate team members to foster development and high performance. Minimum of 5 years managing strategy & transformation projects at a global organization or in a top-tier Strategy Consulting firm, with direct involvement in at least 5 JV/M&A transactions (including both commercial due diligence and post-merger integration) Minimum 5 years leading end-to-end JV and M&A transactions from a business standpoint, including strategic assessment, business plan development, due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and post-deal integration and value creation plan.
