English fully fluent, Spanish desirableSelected candidates will be actively engaged with senior business stakeholders, architects, product owners, operations teams, and third-party vendors, leading projects and ensuring alignment across multiple workstreams, providing expert-level services supporting Payment’s initiatives and operational activities within the BSNY for IT GTB US area.
The consultant will be the IT Payments represent in governance forums, contributing to project and operational governance as required.
Provide end-to-end project delivery service for payment-related initiatives
Define, refine, and manage project scope and delivery approach, proactively identifying gaps, risks, dependencies, and mitigation actions.
Lead requirements definition and validation activities, engaging directly with business and operations stakeholders.
Perform analysis, design, development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of payment-related software solutions.
Identify all applications, systems, interfaces, and integrations required to support/enhance new or existent products and/or processes.
Produce and maintain functional and technical documentation
Coordinate and oversee development activities across multiple internal teams and external vendors, ensuring alignment and timely execution.
Plan, coordinate, and support SIT/UAT, including defect management and resolution tracking.
Maintain/update project plans, milestones, dependencies, and risks, preparing status reports for senior stakeholders.
Prepare and complete all project governance documentation and artifacts required for Gate approvals, in accordance with BSNY PMO / SDLC methodology.
Manage Change Management activities, including preparation, approval, and execution of software deployment changes, in compliance with internal procedures.
Execute formal handovers for Operations and Production Support, ensuring a controlled transition to BAU.
Act as a SME (subject matter expert) providing advanced troubleshooting for complex applications, systems, integrations, and performance issues.
Work closely with Payments Operations teams to support day-to-day processing, resolve functional and technical issues, as well as address user queries.
Participate in incidents, problems, and change management processes, ensuring appropriate documentation and SLA adherence.
Support regulatory, audit, and compliance activities, including preparation of evidence and remediation proposal of findings (vulnerabilities) when required.
Contribute to technical/architectural design proposal for complex initiatives, partnering with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders.
Ensure appropriate knowledge transfer and documentation to support teams, reducing operational risk and dependency on individual resources.
Experience working within controlled production environments with strong governance.
