is a biotechnology company that uses metabolomics for the development of in vitro diagnostic products and provides services to third parties. Rubió Metabolomics is continuously growing and is looking for professionals who want to develop and grow with us.
We are seeking a
Chemist, Biotechnologist, or Biochemist
to join our
Data Processing Department . This position is responsible for the successful processing, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of data generated within the Omics Services area.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality control, normalization, and downstream analysis of metabolomics datasets.
Process, analyze, and interpret data generated by omics platforms within the Metabolomics Services area or provided by customers/suppliers.
Plan, execute, and monitor assigned projects.
Prepare final reports.
Present and communicate results to clients.
Collaborate with computational biologists, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate pipelines.
Contribute to the development of new research devices.
Develop new data analysis tools.
Prepare, update, and control SOPs in accordance with the Quality System.
Promote Metabolomics Services to new and existing clients.
Must-Haves
PhD in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Systems Biology, or a related field, with specialization in Bioinformatics.
Knowledge of computer programming, with experience in data wrangling, engineering, analysis, and visualization using Python, R, or similar tools.
Experience generating insights from biological data, with solid knowledge of metabolism and metabolic pathways.
Technical expertise in handling metabolomics mass spectrometry data, including data preprocessing and normalization for both targeted and untargeted approaches.
Knowledge of data visualization tools.
Knowledge of multivariate analysis techniques.
Experience with pathway enrichment analysis for the functional interpretation of metabolomics datasets.
High level of English (C1 or above) and intermediate level of Spanish.
Strong communication skills.
Passion for innovation in healthcare.
ICH Good Clinical Practice E6 (R3) certification.
Nice to Have
Knowledge of other omics data (proteomics, genomics).
Experience integrating multi-modal datasets (proteomics, metabolomics, physiology).
Previous experience in project management.
Experience with GCLP and Quality Management standards.
Ability to identify compelling business opportunities.
Experience with project management and process optimization methodologies.
