We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about quality, automation, and attention to detail to join Stack Overflight’s core team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and optimal performance of our software products through both manual and automated testing. You’ll work closely with the development team to identify issues, implement automated testing strategies, and help ensure the delivery of high-quality software to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Design, plan, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality and performance.
Develop, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks and test scripts (UI, API, regression, performance, etc.).
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous test execution.
Debug, identify defects and/or potential improvements, document them clearly, and follow up until resolution.
Generate and maintain detailed test documentation, test plans, and test reports.
Enhance testing practices and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and product quality.
Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders in an agile environment to ensure quality is embedded early in the development lifecycle.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive testing tasks and improve coverage across products.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in software testing (especially web), preferably in a startup or tech environment.
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright, or similar.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and test automation best practices.
Experience writing and executing manual and automated test cases.
Nice to have: basic knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and environments.
