Risk Manager / Senior Manager

Opportunity to work in a newly created role as Risk Manager for Advent Surety Partners, a growing, international platform, based in Dublin and with offices around Europe. Advent’s centralised platform offers access for our international Agency Partners to gain capacity through the A rated insurer and reinsurance panel which Advent have developed long-standing relationships and global treaty agreements with. The company has cultivated a global risk management and underwriting framework, with active portfolio management, product capabilities and expertise. With new agency execution a regular feature, there is inter-agency collaboration and business development alongside an experienced executive team and a global surety expert network within the Advent Advisory Group.

Our executive team and advisory group has been assembled with a strong blend of skill sets and experience across global surety, insurance, finance, banking, private equity, consultancy and senior management.

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced

Risk Manager

, a newly created role, who will take a position on our management team. The candidate for this position will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a self-motivated decision maker, who feels empowered by ownership of projects within risk management. The building of strong relationships within the business and with all key stake holders will be paramount to the success of this role.

Credit committee participation and facilitation; reviewing credit assessments from our international agency partners within delegated authorities and for recommendation to capacity providers when required. · Collaborate with International Partners on credit assessments and overall appetite deliberations. · Control of the Advent Risk Framework, including liaison and oversight with team on corporate compliance and regulatory risks, country risks, product risks, Partner due diligence etc. · Minimum 5 years’ experience in Risk Management, with minimum of 2 years in a senior role. ·
