Mobile Research Nurse (Freelance) – Clinical Trial Visits Albacete, Spain

We are seeking experienced Mobile Research Nurses to support an upcoming clinical study. This role is ideal for freelance nurses who enjoy flexibility, autonomy, and working directly with patients in their home environment.

This is an ad-hoc, part-time opportunity, suitable for nurses managing multiple clients or projects, with availability during weekday hours.

About the Role As a Mobile Research Nurse, you will conduct scheduled patient visits in the community and perform clinical trial procedures to support a long-running study.

Visit information: Duration:

~2 hours per visit Visit days:

Day 4, 7, 11, 14, and 18

per patient Study length:

Ongoing for approximately

20 months

You will receive visit schedules well in advance and can plan around your other commitments.

Key Responsibilities Perform protocol-driven home visits for patients recovering from acute ischaemic stroke Conduct study procedures including: Venepuncture Sample processing (including centrifugation) Subcutaneous injection administration ECG recording (no interpretation required) Cannulation Port-a-Cath access & de-access Ensure accurate documentation, sample handling, and compliance with study standards Follow up-to-date GCP (R3) guidelines Maintain communication with the study team where required Uphold patient safety, professionalism, and high-quality clinical care during every visit

What We’re Looking For Registered Nurse with post-qualification experiences Minimum 1 year of acute care experience Proven clinical trial or research nursing experience (priority focus) Confident in the required clinical skills, including venepuncture, injections, ECGs, and sample processing Up-to-date GCP R3 certification (or willingness to complete immediately) Current immunisations appropriate for clinical trial work Freelance nurse or someone with flexible weekly availability
