We are currently seeking a
GMP Analytical Lab Consultant - Maintenance & Qualification
to support Quality Control laboratory activities within a GMP environment. The role involves managing qualification, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of chemical laboratory instrumentation, ensuring compliance and proper performance of QC equipment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform
Periodic Qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ)
of
Chemical Quality Control laboratory instrumentation
, including:
HPLC, UPLC, GC, balances, pH meters, Karl Fischer titrators, AAS, UV-Vis, IR spectrophotometers, climatic chambers, DSC, TGA, TOC analyzers
.
Author and execute
IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols
and generate
final qualification reports
.
Monitor
equipment performance, calibration status, and daily functionality checks
to ensure
GMP compliance
.
Coordinate and manage
relationships with vendors and external suppliers
.
Plan and schedule
qualification, calibration, and maintenance activities
.
Oversee
activity planning and procurement of kits and consumables
.
Execute
preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities
on laboratory instruments.
Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting – HPLC
Detector diagnostics and troubleshooting
Flow cell cleaning and lamp replacement
Pump diagnostics and replacement of seals, pistons, and fittings
Diagnosis of
mechanical faults (arms, needle, injector systems)
Replacement of
tubing, fittings, frits, filters, gaskets, and capillaries
Cleaning of
solvent inlet filters (dip sticks)
System flushing
to remove precipitates and contamination
Leak detection and seal integrity checks
Diagnosis and replacement of
syringes, septa, O-rings, injectors, and liners
Required Qualifications:
Degree in scientific disciplines
Experience of working in GMP environment
Strong knowledge of analytical laboratory instrumentation and qualification processes (IQ/OQ/PQ).
Spanish native, english at least B2
