JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Strategy Business Partner (SBP) acts as a senior advisor and strategic facilitator for HBX’s business verticals, working closely with the Vertical leaders and their Senior Leadership teams, ensuring that each vertical’s agenda and objectives are fully aligned with the Group’s overall strategy. The SBP ensures alignment of corporate strategy translated into actionable vertical plans, drives performance monitoring, and fosters a culture of continuous challenge and best practice sharing. The role is pivotal in bridging corporate priorities with vertical execution, supporting decision-making with robust fact-bases and market intelligence.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Represents corporate strategy in relation to vertical agendas and objectives, ensuring every vertical initiative contributes to the overall Group strategy.
• Partners with vertical Managing Directors (MDs) and their SLTs to define, monitor, and challenge strategic plans, acting as a trusted advisor and facilitator.
• Leads the development and maintenance of internal fact-bases for assigned verticals, providing data-driven insights to support performance management and strategic decision-making.
• Implements and shares best practices across verticals, ensuring consistency and excellence in strategic execution.
• Continuously challenges and revisits vertical strategies and objectives, conducting deep dives and supporting strategic reviews as needed.
• Coordinates with other functions (e.g., Strategic Projects, Transformation) to ensure alignment and effective delivery of cross-functional initiatives.
• Supports market understanding for each vertical, leveraging Market Lighthouse intelligence and collaborating with Corporate Strategy.
• Represents the Strategy function in key vertical forums (e.g., Monthly Business Reviews), ensuring strategic priorities are embedded in operational discussions.
DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY
• Defines and prioritizes vertical strategic agendas in partnership with MDs.
• Builds and disseminates factbase insights and market intelligence to support decision-making at vertical level.
• Makes recommendations on strategic pivots, resource allocation, and risk mitigation to vertical leadership and the Strategy Director.
• Recommends and implements best practices and performance monitoring frameworks within assigned verticals.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar role within a global organization.
Demonstrated experience partnering with senior business leaders and driving strategic planning processes.
Experience in performance management, data analysis, and best practice implementation.
Track record of delivering strategic projects and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
Professional qualification in Business, Economics, or a related analytical field.
MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly valued.
