About Us
We are an exciting new global marketplace platform, designed for the textile industry. We connect
textile machinery manufacturers with textile production companies, as well as the main stakeholders
of the textile industry, in order to showcase the most sustainably innovative textile machinery
available today. We have launched in several markets, including Turkey, Bangladesh, India, China and
parts of Europe and we have ambitious growth plans.
Our company is founded by international entrepreneurs, all of whom have significant experience and
expertise in manufacturing, gained at senior and Board level. We have global investment
partnerships set up with in-country banks, and our revenue is generated through textile machinery
manufacturers, on both a subscription basis and single transactions.
Our aim is to make the latest and most sustainable manufacturing technology accessible globally to
all sizes of textile manufacturers. Our platform is rapidly gaining traction with both textile and machinery manufacturers.
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Chief Audit & Compliance Executive to join our
executive team. This critical leadership role will be responsible for defining and overseeing Ivy
Decarb's global audit strategy, with a singular focus on external audits, the ownership of the
methodology for measuring and validating the positive impacts generated by investments made by
our Textile Manufacturer clients.
This role is essential for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and external reporting of our platform's claimed contributions to decarbonization, sustainability, and productivity within the textile industry across all our target markets (Italy, Turkey, Bangladesh, India, China and other sourcing countries).
You will directly manage relationships with external assurance providers and lead the strategy for the validation and external reporting of ESG metrics and investment performance. Oversight of the internal audit and financial compliance functions remains, but the core mandate is the integrity of external-facing impact claims. High visibility, executive-level leadership, and international scope.
As such, it’s essential that you’ll have significant experience in external audit, assurance, and impact validation, particularly in relation to investment performance, ESG reporting, and industrial sustainability. The role requires a strong technical understanding of audit methodologies, internal controls, and the ability to translate complex impact data (decarbonization, productivity) into verifiable, auditable results.
You will be excited about working in a startup with a distinct product offering that is transforming
the sustainability of the textile industry.
