The Risk Director will hold a strategic leadership role in defining, implementing, and advancing the organization’s comprehensive corporate risk management strategy. This position is accountable for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the company, while establishing a rigorous methodology to ensure a coherent and integrated risk management framework aligned with corporate principles and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities : Identify potential internal and external risks impacting the organization and evaluate their likelihood and impact using structured methodologies and advanced assessment models. Design and implement comprehensive mitigation strategies, including preventive and corrective measures to minimize adverse effects. Oversee the evolving risk landscape, adapting management frameworks to address emerging threats and changing business scenarios. Ensure full compliance with applicable regulations related to risk management, information security, data protection, environmental standards, and sector-specific requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain integrated risk management frameworks aligned with global best practices and corporate principles. Partner with key business units to embed risk management into core processes, ensuring alignment and integration across the organization. Lead the annual risk mapping process, monitor updates, and provide high-level dashboards and reports to Executive Management and Compliance Committees. Direct Business Continuity Planning, including impact analysis, recovery strategies, operational resilience testing, and crisis response coordination. Oversee corporate insurance programs to ensure adequate coverage aligned with identified risks. Promote a strong risk-aware culture, drive organizational engagement, and continuously enhance risk management processes, tools, and methodologies in line with industry trends.

Required Qualifications : Education: Bachelor’s degree or in Economics, Engineering, Law or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. Additional training in risk management, business continuity, or compliance will be considered an asset. Professional Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in risk management within highly regulated sectors, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Experience in international environments and in managing risks in companies with global operations will be highly valued. Skills: Exceptional Analytical and strategic thinking. Leadership and effective communication skills. Results-oriented mindset and sound decision-making. Knowledge of International Standards. Experience managing financial, operational and regulatory risk. Strong background in internal controls, compliance and governance frameworks.
