Role Description โ Senior Account Executive (Europe)
We are seeking a
Senior Account Executive
to drive
new business growth and account expansion
across the US pharmaceutical market. This is a
full-time, remote role based in Europe
, with primary responsibility for owning the
entire sales cycle
from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.
This is a
quota-carrying, revenue-focused role
ideal for a sales professional who understands the pharmaceutical ecosystem and can confidently sell consulting and professional services around serialization, compliance, and regulatory programs.
Key Responsibilities
Own and execute the
full sales lifecycle
, including lead generation, qualification, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, and contract closure
Build and expand a strong pipeline of
new logos and strategic accounts
within pharmaceutical manufacturers, CMOs, and related partners
Develop trusted, long-term relationships with
senior stakeholders, compliance leaders, IT heads, and operations teams
Identify client pain points related to
EU FMD, US DSCSA and global serialization requirements
and position CosmoTrace as a strategic partner
Collaborate closely with
delivery, consulting, and leadership teams
to design winning solutions and ensure smooth handover post-sale
Meet and exceed
quarterly and annual sales targets
while maintaining high customer satisfaction
Track opportunities, forecasts, and account activity using CRM tools and provide regular sales reporting
Represent CosmoTrace at
industry events, conferences, and client meetings
as required
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in
B2B sales, enterprise account management, or business development
, ideally within pharma, life sciences, or regulated industries
Strong understanding of
consulting or professional services sales
(not just software license sales)
Solid familiarity with current serialization regulations and exposure to global serialization regulations is a strong advantage
Demonstrated ability to
close complex, multi-stakeholder deals
Excellent
communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Highly self-driven with the ability to work
independently in a remote environment
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across delivery, compliance, and technology
