Our client is a

global technology leader in renewable energy solutions

, operating in more than 170 countries and supporting the energy transition through advanced power electronics, smart energy management, and digital technologies.

We are seeking a Sales Director South Europe to lead and expand inverter and power conversion system (PCS) sales across the South European market.

This role will be responsible for

driving regional sales strategy, managing a team of sales managers across multiple European territories, and building strong relationships with key customers in the energy sector

. The position plays a critical role in achieving revenue, growth, and profitability targets across the region.

The successful candidate will bring

strong experience in the European energy sector

, proven

leadership in managing high-performing sales teams

, and a

solid technical understanding of power electronics and energy infrastructure solutions

.

Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a

team of regional sales managers

responsible for inverter, PCS, and related power electronics solutions across Europe. Drive

regional sales growth

and deliver against annual revenue and profitability targets. Build and maintain

strategic relationships with key customers and partners

in the European energy and solar sectors. Develop and execute

account penetration strategies

to expand business with both existing and new customers. Oversee

sales forecasting, supply planning, and inventory coordination

in collaboration with operations teams. Collaborate closely with

global headquarters and EMEA stakeholders

to support regional business objectives. Work cross-functionally with other business units to develop

integrated solution offerings

, including combined hardware packages and system solutions. Lead negotiations of

major framework agreements with strategic accounts

. Represent the company at

industry events, trade fairs, and customer engagements

across Europe. Maintain strong knowledge of

market trends, competitor products, and developments in power electronics and energy storage markets

. Monitor regulatory developments and market dynamics impacting the renewable energy and storage sectors. Ensure smooth coordination with internal teams for

order processing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms

.

Qualifications Degree in

Engineering

preferred; alternatively

Business Administration with a strong technical background

. Proven experience

leading and developing high-performing sales teams

. Strong background in

power electronics, inverters, or energy storage technologies

. Well-established network within the

European solar or renewable energy sector

. Minimum

10 years of relevant industry experience

. Experience with

value-based selling and strategic account development

. Strong understanding of

different stakeholders within the solar and energy ecosystem

. Proficiency with

MS Office and CRM systems

. Willingness to

travel across South Europe

. Fluent English required; additional European languages are a plus

.
