About DCID Design
DCID Design creates calm, nature-connected homes for clients across Costa del Sol. We manage projects end-to-end, from design to purchasing, delivery, installation, and final interior details. We’re a small team, so you’ll be close to everything and have real responsibilities. We love when our clients can walk into their new home or investment property and feel instantly at ease, without having to worry about a single detail. Our values are rooted in honesty, clear communication, and hands-on leadership, ensuring every project is both joyful and meaningful for our clients. We believe that thoughtful design can make life not just aesthetic, but genuinely happier and healthier.
The role
We are looking for a proactive, entrepreneurial assistant who can do a little of everything and become main designers’ hand in the business.
This role is for someone who wants to grow with a small business, not a narrow job description.
The most important thing is your attitude: you’re driven, positive, a problem solver, and you have a burning passion for interior design and holistic spaces.
What you’ll do
Purchasing and order management
Supplier communication and follow-ups (Spain and Europe)
Delivery coordination, tracking, and problem-solving
Keeping project details organised (product lists, budgets, timelines)
Build new processes, templates and ways of working
Website administration and updates, including web shop management
Create and send monthly new letters and other marketing documents
Client communication in English and Spanish
Support on installation days and final interior details when needed
You’re a great fit if you
Love interiors and have a strong eye for detail
Are organised, proactive, and calm under deadlines
Are familiar with building new processes, templates and ways of working
Communicate clearly in fluent English and have good Spanish (able to speak with suppliers and on-site
teams)
Are comfortable with tools like MS office, Canva, Hubspot, Wordpress and spreadsheets
Have some experience in interior design, architecture or project/admin coordination (junior is ok)
Requirements
Languages: Fluent English required. Good Spanish level or higher (able to speak with suppliers and on-site teams)
Driving licence required
Able to work on-site in Benalmadena
Reliable, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking responsibility in a small team
Flexibility, occasionally installation or delivery days can be longer. For which you will of course be compensated.
Bonus skills (nice to have)
SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or 3D rendering tools
Sourcing furniture and materials in Spain/Europe
Social media content support (light help, not the main job)
What we offer
Company phone
Private health insurance
Trainings, and a clear onboarding process
Travel to design fairs 1–2 times/year for inspiration
Growth path: more responsibility in sourcing, presentations, and interior design responsibilities over time
Fair leadership, close collaboration, and a role where your work truly matters
Trial period: 6-month probation period to ensure a great long-term fit for both sides.
