Quality

Engineer (APQP)

to join our automotive engineering team in

Valencia, Spain.

Main functions to develop: Cascade quality requirements to suppliers: Ensuring that suppliers understand and adhere to the quality standards required. Work with Engineering team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability: Collaborating with engineering to set up processes that meet product and process requirements. Ensure part quality (APQP / PPAP) preparation with suppliers: Overseeing the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) with suppliers. Carry out supplier validation audits: Conducting audits to validate supplier processes and products. Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues: Helping suppliers identify and correct quality issues . Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions: Visiting suppliers to ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively. Support the Quality Manager to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance: Assisting in tracking and reporting supplier performance.

Essential Requirements: At

least 3 years

of experience in Quality projects within the automotive sector. Experience in direct communication with clients, especially French OEMs. Knowledge of APQP tools (PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, 8D...) Experience in plastics/decorative parts homologation (injection molding, painting, chrome plating, assembly...) is a plus. Fluent in English is a must.
