About the Role As a

Technical Support Engineer at Hikrobot

, you will be responsible for the successful deployment, integration, and ongoing support of our autonomous mobile robotics (AMR) and material handling systems across the Pan-European region. You will act as the primary technical representative for customers, ensuring system performance, reliability, and high customer value throughout the product lifecycle

Key Responsibilities

1 . Project Deployment & Commissioning Lead on-site installation, configuration, and acceptance testing of AMR and related robotics systems at customer sites. Configure navigation maps, SLAM/positioning, scheduling rules, charging and docking points, and interfaces with conveyors, lifts, access systems, and PLCs. Support integration with customer WMS/MES/ERP systems. 2 . Technical Support & Troubleshooting Provide remote and on-site technical support, diagnosing and resolving issues across hardware, software, networking, and system integration layers. Analyze navigation anomalies, task scheduling issues, communication faults, and performance irregularities. Work closely with R&D teams to submit detailed reports and drive product enhancements. 3 . Customer Training & Enablement Deliver structured training to customers and regional partners on system operation, maintenance, software tools, and best practices. Produce high-quality documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational manuals. 4 . Operations Monitoring & Optimization Monitor fleet performance metrics (uptime, alert frequency, battery health, throughput, scheduling efficiency). Propose data-driven optimization plans — including route refinement, process adjustment, and scheduling strategy improvements. Support multi-site scaling, upgrades, and long-term operations for customers across Europe. 5 . Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as a key technical liaison between customers, the regional service organization, and Hikrobot’s global R&D teams. Collect and communicate customer implementation feedback and business needs to inform product development. Coordinate with parts logistics, third-party vendors, and regional service partners. 6 . Travel Requirement ~ High travel demand (~70–80%), covering multiple EU countries to support customer deployments and operations.

Qualifications

Required: ~ Bachelor’s degree or above in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or related technical field. ~2–5+ years of hands-on experience in automation, mobile robotics (AGV/AMR), or warehouse logistics system support/engineering. ~ Solid understanding of SLAM, laser/vision localization, navigation planning, scheduling, and fleet management systems. ~ Strong system integration experience including network communication, interface setup, and debugging. ~ Excellent customer communication skills with the ability to independently drive on-site problem resolution. ~ Fluent

Mandarin, Spanish and English

as a working language; EU driver’s license preferred.

Preferred: Proficiency in one or more European languages (German, French, Dutch, Italian, etc.). Experience with WMS/MES/ERP integration or industrial PLC systems. Knowledge of the warehousing and logistics sector (3PL, e-commerce, automotive, electronics manufacturing).
