Role description
As a Debt and Asset Recovery Specialist, you will play a key role in the operational management of the delinquent portfolio within the Collections & Recovery area at REVEL. You will work in close coordination with various teams and functions to ensure effective and efficient collection management. Your responsibility will be to manage and resolve each assigned account/customer, ensuring closure in line with established procedures and defined quality standards, closely monitoring each case to guarantee a proper resolution. This is a full‑time position based on a hybrid working model from our offices in Madrid/Barcelona.
Key responsibilities
Operational management and individual productivity:
Manage assigned requests and tasks, ensuring compliance with productivity and quality targets defined for the role. Accurately log all activities performed and contribute to the achievement of the team’s operational objectives, including incident management and handling of customer complaints in order to unblock delinquent situations.
Compliance with operational metrics and individual KPIs:
Ensure adherence to KPIs associated with day‑to‑day activities (recovery rate, resolution times, quality and SLA compliance) making proper use of the productivity and tracking tools available.
Contribution to operational projects and continuous improvement:
Actively participate in operational initiatives, internal projects and improvement actions impacting Collections & Recovery, providing feedback from daily operations and contributing to the identification of opportunities for process optimization and automation of repetitive tasks.
Execution and application of operational processes:
Apply the processes and procedures defined for the execution of the current Collections Strategy.
Support in the execution of the Collections Strategy during change initiatives:
Collaborate in the correct implementation of operational changes, digital transformation projects and new tools, ensuring their proper adoption in day‑to‑day operations and reporting any incidents or impacts on the customer experience.
Role requirements
Experience:
Previous experience in Collections, Customer Service, or Customer Experience roles focused on retail customers, with a strong emphasis on resolving billing and payment issues.
Operational profile:
Strong execution‑driven profile, focused on quality of case handling, with the ability to identify and propose improvements that optimize customer processes, working closely with different operational teams within REVEL.
Education:
University degree, diploma, or vocational training strongly preferred.
Languages:
Spanish – bilingual/native (mandatory); Italian – bilingual/native (mandatory); English – advanced (C2) (preferred).
