Mission:
As a Commissioning Technician , you will play a key role in the execution of test and commissioning activities defined by the engineering team. You will be responsible for commissioning and operating the hydrogen generation units, ensuring target hydrogen capacity, purity, and system availability. Your responsibilities will include data acquisition and analysis from hydrogen production plants, performing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at H2Site’s facilities in Bilbao, and supporting Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at customer facilities.
Functions:
Collaborate with the technology department to prepare equipment for mechanical commissioning during hydrogen production plant projects.
Performing leak tests.
Perform mechanical assembly and electrical wiring of equipment.
Checking the PLC control.
Testing of the equipment.
Documentation and reporting.
Maintaining records of planning, PEM tasks, equipment control and calibration.
Preparing operational monitoring and commissioning reports.
Supervise the activities of subcontractors working on H2SITE facilities on H2 generation systems.
Identify and communicate to the HSQE manager any dangerous situation, as well as the preventive measures to avoid it.
What you’ll need to succeed:
FP II in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or similar studies.
At least 2+ years of experience in production processes or similar roles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Ability to travel to project sites, supplier facilities and customer locations as required.
Ability to perform inspections and audits in diverse environments.
